Meeting concerning the Qualification and Classification of companies

This meeting was called in response to a letter from the Head of Government, who officially requested the Ministry of Equipment and Water to provide support to companies, with a focus on qualification and classification, with the aim of awarding a maximum number of contracts to Moroccan companies rather than foreign ones.

In order to mobilize a greater number of companies ready to undertake these contracts and be operational in the field, particularly in the building sector, the DATRP is proposing the creation of gateways between sectors.

At the end of the meeting, it was decided as follows:

1- The DATRP should await receipt of an official letter from ANEP, clearly outlining its needs for future projects and providing an overview of active companies, particularly those classified as S class;

2- Following ANEP’s response, the DATRP should present this issue to the national qualification and classification commission. This commission will be responsible for formulating appropriate proposals in response to the needs expressed by ANEP.

3- Evaluating the effectiveness of this proposal: DATRP will carry out a simulation. This will enable the potential impacts to be measured in concrete terms and the proposal to be refined accordingly.
