Meetings held to advance reform of price review system

The FNBTP committee in charge of this reform is continuing its efforts to bring it to a successful conclusion as quickly as possible.

To this end, the following meetings were recently held:

Tuesday December 19, 2023 | CNSS headquarters in Casablanca

This meeting between the FNBTP and the CNSS is part of the process of drawing up our Federation’s proposal to overhaul the composite wage index.

Following the resolutions of the last plenary meeting of the National Commission in charge of this reform, it was agreed that the FNBTP would enter into discussions with CNSS officials to explore the possibilities of establishing a new, reliable and relevant wage index within the framework of the new price revision system.

Exchanges at the meeting were fruitful, paving the way for closer collaboration between the two institutions on this reform in the future.

Wednesday December 20, 2023 | ANEP headquarters, Rabat

The purpose of this meeting was to settle a few outstanding points before final validation of the updated index matrix proposed by the Building sub-committee.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the FNBTP commission, ANEP and DATRP.

As a reminder, the FNBTP commission is made up of a coordinating consultant, as well as member companies in 5 sectoral sub-commissions: Building, Engineering structures, Roads, Drilling, Drinking water pipes and reservoirs.

Phase 1, involving the revision of simple and compound indexes, will soon be completed. The 2nd phase will involve the revision of global indexes.
